Questions from Tunstall brands
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Do I need to be based in Tunstall to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Tunstall orders go by tracked courier to IP12.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Tunstall?
Tunstall is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Who enforces food labelling in Suffolk?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Suffolk, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
