Rules in Wales
Labelling law for supplements from Tutshill
Products you sell from Tutshill must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Monmouthshire.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Is there a minimum order?
There’s no fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.

Tutshill is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Tutshill, showing our materials and finishes.
Do you only work with Tutshill businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Tutshill orders go by tracked delivery to NP16.
