Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Warboys
Products you sell from Warboys must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. In Cambridgeshire, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Cambridgeshire.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Questions from Warboys brands
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Warboys?
Warboys is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Do you only work with Warboys businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Warboys orders go out by tracked delivery to PE28.
When will my labels arrive in Warboys?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Warboys orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
