Wellow questions
Do I need to be based in Wellow to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Wellow orders go out by tracked courier to NG22.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
How long does delivery to Wellow take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Wellow orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Wellow, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Wellow
Supplements sold from Wellow must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
