Questions from West Butsfield brands
Who enforces food labelling in County Durham?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for County Durham, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How long does delivery to West Butsfield take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of West Butsfield orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
What’s the smallest run you print?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can mix several designs in one order.
