Questions from West Grinstead brands
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
When will my labels arrive in West Grinstead?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most West Grinstead orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your West Grinstead address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Who enforces food labelling in West Sussex?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for West Sussex, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
