FAQs for Wolvey
What’s the smallest run you print?
No fixed minimum. Short runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can mix several designs in one order.
Do I need to be based in Wolvey to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Wolvey orders go by tracked delivery to LE10.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Wolvey?
Wolvey is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
When will my labels arrive in Wolvey?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Wolvey orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.

Supplement labelling rules for Wolvey
Supplements sold from Wolvey must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
