Allt questions
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Allt?
Allt is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Who checks supplement labels in Carmarthenshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Carmarthenshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency in Wales. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Allt address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
