Rules in Wales
Supplement labelling rules for Talyclun
Products you sell from Talyclun must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Common questions in Talyclun
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Talyclun, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Do you only work with Talyclun businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Talyclun deliveries go out by tracked delivery to SA14.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
When will my labels arrive in Talyclun?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so most Talyclun orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
