Astcote questions
Do you only work with Astcote businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Astcote deliveries go out by tracked courier to NN12.
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Astcote address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
How long does delivery to Astcote take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so most Astcote orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Astcote
Supplements sold from Astcote must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. In Northamptonshire, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
