Supplement labelling rules for Berinsfield
Products you sell from Berinsfield must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Oxfordshire.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Questions from Berinsfield brands
Which material is best for a protein tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Berinsfield, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Do you only work with Berinsfield businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Berinsfield orders go out by tracked delivery to OX10.
What’s the smallest run you print?
There’s no fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
