Common questions in Brynffordd
Who checks supplement labels in Flintshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Flintshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do I need to be based in Brynffordd to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Brynffordd orders go by tracked courier to CH8.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Brynffordd address, showing our materials and finishes.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
