You don’t need a printer down the road. Send your artwork and we’ll check it, send a to-size proof within about a working day, and print once you approve it. We print digitally on white or clear PP, paper or metallic film, with gloss, matt, soft-touch or foil finishes, from 250 labels per design. Once you approve the proof, we print in three to five working days and send your labels by tracked courier.

Cockwells questions
How long does delivery to Cockwells take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Cockwells orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Cockwells address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Do I need to be based in Cockwells to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Cockwells orders go out by tracked delivery to TR20.
What’s the smallest run you print?
There’s no fixed minimum. Short runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Cockwells
Any food supplement sold from Cockwells must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
