FAQs for Dolphin Town
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
How long does delivery to Dolphin Town take?
Usually two working days after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Dolphin Town orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Dolphin Town, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Dolphin Town
Products you sell from Dolphin Town must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
