Questions from Doveridge brands
What’s the smallest run you print?
There’s no fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Who enforces food labelling in Derbyshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Derbyshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Doveridge?
Doveridge is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
How long does delivery to Doveridge take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Doveridge orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
