Common questions in Easthouses
Who checks supplement labels in Midlothian?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Midlothian, with national oversight from Food Standards Scotland. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
When will my labels arrive in Easthouses?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Easthouses orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Easthouses, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
