Rules in Scotland
Labelling law for supplements from Evie
Any food supplement sold from Evie must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

FAQs for Evie
Do you only work with Evie businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Evie orders go out by tracked courier to KW17.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
How long does delivery to Evie take?
Usually two working days after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Evie orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
