Questions from Frodsham brands
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
How long does delivery to Frodsham take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so most Frodsham orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Frodsham?
Frodsham is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do I need to be based in Frodsham to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Frodsham deliveries go by tracked courier to WA6.

Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Frodsham
Products you sell from Frodsham must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
