Supplement labelling rules for Kentchurch
Any food supplement sold from Kentchurch must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

FAQs for Kentchurch
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
What’s the smallest run you print?
There’s no fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can mix several designs in one order.
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Kentchurch, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Kentchurch?
Kentchurch is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
