Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Long Ditton
Products you sell from Long Ditton must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Long Ditton questions
Do I need to be based in Long Ditton to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Long Ditton deliveries go out by tracked delivery to KT6.
How long does delivery to Long Ditton take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Long Ditton orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Long Ditton, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
