Questions from Mynyddygarreg brands
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Mynyddygarreg address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
How long does delivery to Mynyddygarreg take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Mynyddygarreg orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Mynyddygarreg?
Mynyddygarreg is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.

Rules in Wales
Labelling law for supplements from Mynyddygarreg
Any food supplement sold from Mynyddygarreg must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. In Carmarthenshire, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
