Rules in England
Label rules that apply in New Yatt
Any food supplement sold from New Yatt must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

FAQs for New Yatt
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your New Yatt address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
How long does delivery to New Yatt take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of New Yatt orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
