Questions from Norland Town brands
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Norland Town, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Small runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Who checks supplement labels in Calderdale?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Calderdale, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
