Old Eldon questions
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Old Eldon?
Old Eldon is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Old Eldon, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
When will my labels arrive in Old Eldon?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so most Old Eldon orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
