Products you sell from Old Langho must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Common questions in Old Langho
When will my labels arrive in Old Langho?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Old Langho orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Do you only work with Old Langho businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Old Langho orders go by tracked courier to BB6.
Who checks supplement labels in Lancashire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Lancashire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Old Langho address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
