Common questions in Sardis
Who enforces food labelling in Pembrokeshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Pembrokeshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Sardis address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
When will my labels arrive in Sardis?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so most Sardis orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
