Rules in Scotland
Labelling law for supplements from Scourie
Products you sell from Scourie must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. In Highland, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Highland.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
