Common questions in Stithians
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Stithians?
Stithians is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
How long does delivery to Stithians take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Stithians orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Is there a minimum order?
There’s no fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.

Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Stithians
Supplements sold from Stithians must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
