Stoneywood questions
Which material is best for a protein tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Is there a minimum order?
There’s no fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Do I need to be based in Stoneywood to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Stoneywood deliveries go by tracked delivery to FK6.

Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Stoneywood
Any food supplement sold from Stoneywood must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. In Falkirk, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Falkirk.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
