Common questions in Summerhill
Do you only work with Summerhill businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Summerhill deliveries go by tracked delivery to SA67.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
How long does delivery to Summerhill take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so most Summerhill orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
What’s the smallest run you print?
There’s no fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can mix several designs in one order.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Summerhill?
Summerhill is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Rules in Wales
Labelling law for supplements from Summerhill
Products you sell from Summerhill must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
