Common questions in Torpoint
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Do you only work with Torpoint businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Torpoint orders go by tracked courier to PL11.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Torpoint?
Torpoint is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Torpoint, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
When will my labels arrive in Torpoint?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so most Torpoint orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.

Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Torpoint
Supplements sold from Torpoint must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cornwall.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
