Questions from Veryan Green brands
What’s the smallest run you print?
There’s no fixed minimum. Small runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Who enforces food labelling in Cornwall?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cornwall, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you only work with Veryan Green businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Veryan Green orders go by tracked delivery to TR2.
