Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Warbstow
Products you sell from Warbstow must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cornwall.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Warbstow questions
When will my labels arrive in Warbstow?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Warbstow orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Warbstow address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
What’s the smallest run you print?
There’s no fixed minimum. Short runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can combine several designs in one order.
