Waterditch questions
Do you only work with Waterditch businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Waterditch deliveries go out by tracked delivery to BH23.
Who enforces food labelling in Dorset?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Dorset, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
