Woodhall questions
Do I need to be based in Woodhall to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Woodhall deliveries go out by tracked delivery to DL8.
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
When will my labels arrive in Woodhall?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Woodhall orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Woodhall
Supplements sold from Woodhall must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
