Worplesdon questions
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Worplesdon?
Worplesdon is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What’s the smallest run you print?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can mix several designs in one order.
Do I need to be based in Worplesdon to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Worplesdon orders go out by tracked delivery to GU3.
How long does delivery to Worplesdon take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Worplesdon orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Worplesdon
Any food supplement sold from Worplesdon must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
