Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Domewood
Any food supplement sold from Domewood must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Common questions in Domewood
How long does delivery to Domewood take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so most Domewood orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Do I need to be based in Domewood to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Domewood deliveries go by tracked courier to RH10.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Domewood?
Domewood is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
