Common questions in Furnace Wood
Who enforces food labelling in West Sussex?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for West Sussex, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How long does delivery to Furnace Wood take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Furnace Wood orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Small runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can mix several designs in one order.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
