Fetterangus questions
Do I need to be based in Fetterangus to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Fetterangus deliveries go by tracked courier to AB42.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Fetterangus address, showing our materials and finishes.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Small runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can mix several designs in one order.
Rules in Scotland
Labelling law for supplements from Fetterangus
Any food supplement sold from Fetterangus must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. In Aberdeenshire, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
