Little Ouse questions
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Little Ouse address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Little Ouse?
Little Ouse is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Who enforces food labelling in Cambridgeshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cambridgeshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
