Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Isle of Wight, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
When will my labels arrive in Sandford?
Usually two working days after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Sandford orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
What’s the smallest run you print?
No fixed minimum. Short runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can combine several designs in one order.

Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
